About the event

A sound bath is literally that, you lie down and are surrounded by live sounds produced by ancient instruments with intense vibrational tones. Like a nice warm bubble bath, it does wonders for your body and mind, and much more. Tibetan singing bowls, tingshas and gongs have been used for centuries for healing and meditation purposes. They stimulate our brainwaves, creating a range of sounds that help induce deep meditative and peaceful states, clarity of mind, and intuition. Participants usually feel a healing field of sound around them that is helpful to release stress, insomnia, anxiety, chronic pain, and even depression. Each sound bath session is unique and the sounds are created in the moment through intuitive listening and inner guidance.

The session starts with voice sounding, a meditative practice that uses the vibration of your own voice to promote healing and cleansing from within. Next, we’ll use a breathing technique to help ground and prepare you for a sound bath. Using singing bowls*, gongs and tingsha, Vicente will then immerse you in soothing frequencies to stimulate a relaxation response.

No previous experience with meditation is required.

Please bring your yoga mat.

*Not recommended if you have a history of seizures, serious mental illness or severe trauma, have a pacemaker or are pregnant.
